BT Customer service straikes again

BT update.   After a time of being without Broadband from BT I duly waited patiently (not really) for service to be resumed).  It was supposed to become live at midnight on Wednesday 15th December after being repaired.  It did not.

Further enquiries on the morning of the 16th finally came to providing some light at the end of the tunnel.  Still no service at home though as I write.  Apparently it all goes back to upgrade offer that was made in November.  I took the offer and thought nothing of it.  It now appears that the capacity that was offered was not actually available on the system in the first place in the exchange.  Will continue this later as the free time on the local libraries computers is about to run out.
