Fruiting bodies only the small visible part

of the whole organism mainly buried  out of site 

Have spent the last six months labouring away in the dark, setting a new agenda out for my own circumstances.

Now hopefully the mushroom that is starting to erupt is off the edible and toxic kind.  Mixing metaphors?
